THE CHILD AVIATION RESTRAINT SYSTEM MANUAL
Please check that your child seat is approved for ‘use in aircraft.’ There will be a label or text on the child seat, and the manufacturer’s manual will contain instructions for installing it on an aircraft seat. You may take an age-appropriate child seat or child car seat with you if your child is under 7 years old and you have reserved him or her a seat on board. If your child is under 2 years old, he or she must sit on an adult’s lap wearing a separate safety belt provided by the cabin crew, or in a child restraint device fastened to the aircraft seat – this is especially important during the take-off, landing and periods of irregularity (for example, those caused by turbulence). The inside length of our baby bassinet is 70cm (27.5in), and the infant using the bassinet may not weigh more than 9kg (20lb).
THE CHILD AVIATION RESTRAINT SYSTEM INSTALL
